
Riyadh – The Saudi Export Development Authority, Cluster 2 Company, and SAL Logistics Services have signed a memorandum of understanding in the logistics field, on the sidelines of the “Made in Saudi 2025” exhibition held in Riyadh from 15 to 17 December under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Export Development Authority, Mr. Bandar Al-Khorayef.
The memorandum was signed on behalf of the Saudi Export Development Authority by its CEO, Eng. Abdulrahman Al-Thekir, on behalf of Cluster 2 Company by Mr. Saad Al-Ajlan, Executive Vice President of Commercial Operations and Business Development; and on behalf of SAL by its Chief Shared Services Officer, Mr. Saleh aldaini.
The MoU aims to enhance the efficiency of logistics services that support the movement of national exports by developing joint programs that strengthen the competitiveness of Saudi products and help facilitate their access to international markets.
The memorandum also provides for the exchange of expertise and the coordination of efforts between the parties in areas related to logistics operations, in addition to working on the development of initiatives that contribute to raising the level of integration between air transport and logistics services, in support of the Kingdom’s economic growth.
This memorandum reflects the commitment of the three entities to supporting and developing the logistics sector and enhancing its sustainable impact, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 and the Kingdom’s position as a primary hub for transport and logistics services and a global economic center.
