SAL Saudi Logistics Services and Microsoft Arabia Forge Strategic Partnership to Accelerate Digital Transformation

June 13, 2023, JEDDAH, SAUDI ARABIA - SAL Saudi Logistics Services and Microsoft Arabia are pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) which will drive innovation across the region’s logistics sector.
Mr. Faisal AlBedah, Managing Director and CEO of SAL Saudi Logistics Services and Thamer Alharbi, President of Microsoft Arabia and Middle East North GM signed the MoU in the presence of senior officials from both sides in a ceremony at SAL head office in Jeddah on June 12, 2023. The MoU will give both parties the opportunity to collaborate and support SAL’s digital transformation journey with cutting edge technologies and best practices cementing its position as the national logistics champion.
The MoU will also set the framework of collaboration and cooperation between SAL and Microsoft on leveraging AI technologies, advanced data analytics, and process automation to improve customer experience and satisfaction. To further enhance SAL’s digital transformation objectives, the MoU will also offer employee upskilling initiatives.
